So, what’s the deal?
The goal of this thermometer is to live by the lesson we learned at the beginning of this year:
“For youth and lack of understanding are vanity.
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth,
Before the difficult days come
And the the years arrive when you say, ‘I have no will to face them’ “ - Ecclesiastes 11:10-12:1
So let us be strong in our youth and fervent in our faith!
While we ought to be this way anyway, below are some ideas that will add points to the thermometer. The more points in, the more prizes and rewards the whole class gets! Remember, this is a team effort. So lets be one body in Christ and motivate each other.

Below are just a few ideas and their point values they add to the thermometer per task. Each task is per 1 person. If you have an idea not listed, let a servant know and we will designate a point value.
100 Points
Attend Youth Meeting
Attend Vespers/Tasbeha
Share a Bible verse or story with the class and what it means to you (1 per week)
Answer a Sunday School Bible trivia question correctly (1 per week - 3 tries)
500 Points
Confession with Aboona (points max 1 per month)
Volunteer an evening in church - cleaning, Festival, IT, construction, etc. (Ask servants or Aboona for ideas)
Volunteer for a day and help chaperone for Sunday School gatherings
1,000 Points
Prepare and teach a younger Sunday School class (1 per quarter - organize with servant)
Better semester average than last semester
5,000 Points
Organize and plan a volunteer trip to a shelter, kitchen, elderly, etc (1 per quarter)
